OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)/WebOPAC
Recently purchased SOUL 2.0 Library Management Software. The SOUL 2.0 WebOPAC is to provide first hand information about the availability and location of the books and other documents in the library. It provides access to the resources within campus through networked computer terminals and allowed searching the entire resource online, conveniently and quickly, using one or more search criteria such as Author, Title, Publishers, Subject, Accession No., Class No. It also shows the current status of a Book whether it is reserved, loaned, out or available on the shelf etc. Library is developing a database of Books, Back Volumes, Current Journals, Articles, Thesis/ Dissertations (Abstract & Full Text), Newspaper Clippings and University Repository etc., to provide all these library resources online.
