The college has adequate expertise and human resources to carry out sanitation programmes like improving water quality by testing Arsenic, Fluoride and other contaminations.The department of EWM along with other departments of the college played a pioneer role in detection of Arsenic and Fluoride contaminations in ground water, wide spread in the state of Bihar. The efforts of the department of EWM along with other departments of the college have been acclaimed nationally and internationally. Therefore, the college wishes to utilize the expertize and resources of these departments to be extended to the society. It aims to make the people of the whole state aware of the hazards of arsenic and flouride contaminations and to suggest ways to minimize these contaminants for providing safe drinking water to the affected communities. Cleanliness drives are periodically undertaken by the college to instilsense of health and hygiene among students.
NSS and other departments are also conducting different programs related to sanitation, education etc. to ameliorate the condition of poor stratum of the society in an around the vicinity of the college.
